At Gloria's house

One fateful Sat, a few of us met up in Gloria's house. She woke up especially early to cook delicious western meals for the fortunate bunch of us. Thank you Gloria! :))

Had discussion on the activities and programs that will take place in the upcoming months. This month, we are focusing more on building strong bonds among our youth as well as grow stronger in our spiritual walk with God.

Dont drool. :P

For those who could not make it, no worries! On the 31st of October, we will be holding a movie-screening at her house. This time, she will not be preparing dinner for us. We'll be having potluck dinner. So, start racking your brains on what to prepare and hope to see you there!

Youth Anniversary

Yesterday was our youth anniversary!

Our youth sang two songs - "We wanna see Jesus lifted high" and "Through it all". Also it was Jason's first time giving a testimony and it rocked man! hahhaa especially to people like me, whose chinese kinda sucked big time, his speech seemed quite profound.

Well done Jason! =)

Also, many thanks to the singspiration leaders, guitarist and pianist! =)

I realised that this year, we organised and participated in more activities! Besides the Synod Games Day, we also planned a Minds Outing and surprised Nicky with a birthday celebration as well. It was great fun with us shouting for cards as if it was a wet market. hahaha

I do really hope to see our youth growing closer and also spiritually with God.

Do continue to read the Bible daily. Our Heavenly Father wants to spend time with you!

Hey peeps! :))

Well, this is just a reminder to continue memorising those 4 new verses and there will be a coming test this Sunday! If you feel it's really hard to memorise, esp those with a short-term memory like me (haha!), let me tell you that it's actually not hard at all.

Commit yourself to memorising one verse a day for 4 days. In the 24 hours a day, just take 5 mins to remember a verse. And the next day, take 10 mins to remember another verse and the previous verse. In this way, we wont forget them easily.

Do keep them imprinted in your memory cuz they will really help in your spiritual growth and do reflect upon them as you live life day by day.
